Wonderful 1930's red, white, and blue, metal whirligig with Popeye. Great old and original paint, interesting construction, in excellent working condition. 20" long, blade is 13 1/2" dia. A skateboard made from an old piece of pine tongue and groove wood which has been both shaped and worn to an interesting and "artistic" shape. The wheels came from adjustable roller skates. This is one of several home made skateboards. A rustic, miniature twig double swing or glider. It has good form and surface, stands 12 1/4" high, c. 1940's, in excellent condition. Odd Fellows lodge gavel, dated 1917, from Lookout Mountain, TN. It has a super, satiny-smooth, patinated surface from years of handling and use. 9 3/4" long, very good condition. Village scene in a bottle whimsey, 10 1/2" w., very detailed Whirligig with a man cranking a Model T type car. 1940's/50's, 22 1/2" long, excellent condition. Barbed wire art hearts. Star-shaped tramp art box in mustard paint. From Texas, early to mid 20th c., in very good condition, 4 1/2" across. Strong carved lion, walnut with glass eyes, c. 1900, 16 1/2" long. Two spiral shaped cast iron cultivator wheels, early 1900's, in very good condition, mounted on custom bases, 19 1/2" in diameter. Red, white, and blue strip quilt, very striking and graphic. 1940's or 50's, nylon or polyester and cotton, hand quilted, in excellent, near mint condition, from IL. Hand made primitive tool carrier, very weathered, great look. Early 1900's, 21" high, sturdy. Small primitive cabinet made from scrap wood and cheese boxes. 1930's, painted, 10 3/4" high, very good condition. A complex bottle whimsey which is filled with a large detailed ship in a port with several buildings and cranes. 12" long, likely was made in the last 50 years, in excellent sturdy condition. A pair of old cast iron gate caps or finials with tops like fleur-de-lis. Very good condition, 8" high, late 1800's to the 1920's. Painting of flowers, oil on canvas, by Martin Zipin (1920 - 1991). It was done in the early 1960's. We also have a second painting by this artist. Two lead fish figural downriggers from a Lake Michigan fishing boat. 9 1/2" long, in good, used condition.
